Tomato & Basil Pasta

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 750g tomatoes, diced
  • 375ml Campbell's Real Stock - Vegetable
  • 400g dried spaghetti
  • 1 cup basil leaves, roughly torn


  1. Heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until onions are soft.

  2. Add tomatoes and Campbell's Real Stock and bring to the boil. Reduce heat to medium, simmer for 15-20 minutes or until sauce thickens.

  3. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to packet directions. Drain, then return to saucepan.

  4. Add tomato sauce and toss gently over low heat until well combined. Stir in basil leaves.

  5. Serve with freshly shaved parmesan cheese.
