Surf n Turf

  • 4 x 200g sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 20g unsalted butter
  • 1 brown onion, finely diced
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 24 raw prawns
  • 1 cup (250ml) Campbell’s Real Stock - Chicken
  • 50ml white wine
  • 1 tsp horseradish cream
  • 100ml thickened cream
  • ¼ bunch dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 tbsp water


  1. In a medium sized saucepan heat oil and butter on a medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook for 3 minutes or until onion is soft. Stir in prawns and cook for 2 minutes.

  2. Pour in Campbell’s Real Stock and wine, and simmer for 5 minutes.

  3. Add horseradish cream, thickened cream and dill and bring to the boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 4 minutes.

  4. Season steaks with salt and pepper and sear steaks over medium- high heat for 4 minutes on each side. Rest for 5 minutes.

  5. Mix corn flour with water, add to sauce and bring to the boil until thickened.

  6. To serve, pour sauce over steaks with 6 prawns per person. Serve with green beans and a baked potato
