Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large brown onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tsps garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano, finely chopped
  • 1 kg beef mince
  • 500ml Campbell’s Real Stock - Beef
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/3 cup tomato paste
  • 2 x 400 g cans chopped tomatoes
  • Parmesan to serve

Method

  1. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan. Add onion and garlic and cook for 2 minutes, add mince and cook for a further 10-12 minutes or until meat is browned.

  2. Add tomato paste, tomatoes, Campbell’s Real Stock, bay leaf, oregano, stir well to combine. Reduce heat to low and simmer gently for 25 minutes.

  3. Serve over your favourite pasta topped with parmesan.
