Potato Bolognese Bake

  • 750g lean beef mince
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 500ml Campbell's Real Stock - Beef
  • 500g jar tomato pasta sauce
  • 800g potatoes, peeled and very thinly sliced
  • 2 cups tasty cheese, grated


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Cook mince and onion in a large frying pan or saucepan over a high heat until browned. Stir in flour until evenly mixed. Add Campbell's Real Stock and pasta sauce. Bring to the boil stirring constantly, until thickened.

  3. Lightly grease a deep 25x35cm baking dish. Arrange a layer of potato evenly over base of dish. Spoon over half the mince mixture then top with another layer of potato. Pour over remaining mince then finish with another layer of potato. Cover with foil then bake for 35 minutes.

  4. Remove foil, sprinkle over cheese and bake, uncovered for a further 20 minutes or until cheese is golden brown and potatoes are tender.

  5. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
