Mushroom Sauce

  • 10g butter
  • 50g sliced button mushrooms
  • 250ml (1 cup) Campbell’s Real Stock – Chicken
  • 2 tsp of corn flour and 2 tsp of water
  • 2 tsp of chopped fresh chives
  • Cracked black pepper


  1. Melt butter in a medium sized saucepan then add mushrooms and sauté until mushrooms soften. Add in Campbell’s Real Stock and stir simmer for 10 mins.

  2. Add in corn flour that has been mixed with water and stir to thicken (2 mins).

  3. Stir in chopped chives (1 min) and season with cracked black pepper. Serve on top of your favourite cut of meat.
