Hummus

Ingredients

  • 2 x 400g can chickpeas, rinsed, drained
  • 1/2 cup Campbell's Real Stock Vegetable
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 french bread stick, sliced, grilled

Method

  1. Place chickpeas and stock in a food processor and blend until pureed.

  2. Add tahini, lemon juice and garlic and blend until mixture is well combined.

  3. With the blender running add oil and continue to blend until smooth. Pour into a serving bowl, cover and let stand for 1 hour to allow flavours to blend. Serve with grilled bread sticks slices or alternatively with vegetable crudites or your favourite crackers.
