Best Pumpkin Soup

  • 1.5kg pumpkin, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1L Campbell’s Real Stock - Vegetable
  • ½ cup cream
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg, grated or ground
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • sour cream, to serve


  1. Place pumpkin, onion and Campbell's Real Stock in a large saucepan. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

  2. Transfer mixture to a blender, in batches, and puree. Return to the saucepan. Stir in cream, nutmeg and pepper. Cook until heated through. Serve with fresh crusty bread and sour cream.
